Hi Diana, My great grandfather, John Dickert (born in Kattenheim, Germany in 1837) came to America as a young man. At a later date, he sent for his sister, Kate and two brothers followed...one named Andrew and one unnamed.
According to family history one went somewhere in the vicinity of Saugerties, NY and the other somewhere in Wyoming. Don't know if this is the Andrew you are looking for..no info on parents. Maybe this will help. The name Dickert has not been carried on in our family as there were no male descendents....lots of others tho. Good luck. B
