Searched all my information, and couldn't find a John Russell Dicus. When I started looking for my Dicus family, only had my grandfather's name, Cleo Dicus. Went to the LDS family history center, and their staff helped me, took 3 years, but finally found a Dicus genealogy book in the Maryland Historical society, cost 36 dollars. They originally came from Holland to Engand, to American in 1640 and the name use to be Dackenhouse. If you know what your grandfather's name is, where he was born, you probably can get some census records that will give you the location of his father's birth. If you are interested, I can give you the address of the Maryland Historical Society. If I can help in any way, please let me know. Lora
