Jackson County Deed - 1 June 1897
This indenture made and entered into between J. W. CARVER of the first part and S. H. Carver, James Williams, J. A. Dycus, F. A. Dycus, M. H. Dycus, L. M. Huffiness, J. L. McCarver, J. M. Dean, T. M. Hardcastle trustees of the property of the M. E. Church South to this indenture made and entered into this first day of June eighteen hundred and ninety seven between J. W. Carver and Sarah E. Carver his wife of the county of Jackson and state of Tennessee of the one part and L. H. Carver, James Williams, J. A. Dycus, F. A. Dycus, M. H. Dycus, L. W. Huffines, J. M. Dean, J. L. McCarver, and T. M. Hardcastle trustees in the trust for the use and purpose here and after mentioned all of said trustees in the county and state of foresaid of the other part witnesseth that the said J. W. Carver and Sarah E. Carver his wife for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five cents to J. W. Carver in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have given granted bargained.
