Where is Etueffont in France? I am looking for a Nicholas Didier (born 1815) who came to the U.S. probably through New Orleans about 1852. He was the son of Nicholas DidierJean and Elizabeth Marsal from Gogney in the Meurthe-et-Moselle region of France. His brothers Jean Pierre Didier and Francois stayed in Louisiana. They shortened there name from DiderJean to Didier (was Didier centuries back). Also missing another brother Joseph born 1816.
