Remmer (Raymond) or John Dieckman

I need some help. I have a great great grandfather named Remmer (aka Raymond) Dieckman who had a brother named John. In Remmer's obit it says John lived in Iowa. I have seen a document that lists Remmer as a child of Lohann or Johann Dieckmann, the writing is hard to read. Remmer died in Tazewell Co., Illinois in 1930. Remmer was a fish dealer and ran a market off of the Illinois River in Tazewell Co. Illinois.

He and his wife Elise Hofferbert (aka Elizabeth) had four known children:
Alfred and Alma (Kitterman) twins,
Minnie (Jones) and Elsie (Herold).

Alfred was born in 1895, in Tazewell Co., and married Grace Everwien in Sangamon Co., Illinois. See other entry for more info.
