Cleo Diehl

I am searching for information about my gg grandmother, Cleo Diehl.

My Grandmother, Darlene Ek, was born in McPherson Kansas in 1935 to Cleo (Diehl) and Emil Ek. They had 3 other older children, Donna, Bill and Harry.

The 1910 US Census of Pacific County WA (South Bend) lists Cleo as being 8 months old, born in WA and both her parents born in Illinois. This census lists her father as born abt 1886 in Illinois (both parents US born) and his name as 'William H'. Her mother is listed as Hattie born about 1882 in Illinois and both parents born in Illinois as well. Their last name is spelled Deal rather than Diehl.

The 1920 US Census of Pacific County WA (South Bend) lists Cleo's father as W Lercy or W Gercy and being born in Illinois and both parents born in Illinois as well.

Cleo and Emil Ek were married in about 1928 as stated in the 1930 US Census and they had their daughter Donna. Emil was born in Kansas but I'm not sure whether Grandma Darlene really was as all the information shows her parents as living in WA prior to her birth and her other siblings were born in WA, but that is what her obituary states.

Any information would be greatly appreciated as I have so little information on Cleo and her parents.
