Chris, this is my direct family line.
Georg Diel; b. 1679 in Esslingen, Germany, had a son
Josef Diel (Joseph Diehl); b. 1699 in Esslingen, Germany; Joseph/Josef had nine children,
Henry Teel (Heinrich Diehl/Tiel) we believe was born in 1749 in Lovettsville, Loudoun, VA but can find any real documentation except for family notes. What is now Loudoun County was Fairfax County back then. Henry (my 5th g-grandparent)had 10 children, the youngest Isaac Teel is my 4th g-grandparent.
We have been searching for about two years to information on Henry Teel (birth, death, marriage(s), burial, etc.). We have a copy of his Will, but no record of when it was inventoried. Henry died in Blount County, TN. There is a 34 spread in Henry's oldest child and youngest child, so we believe he was married at least twice.

If you have found more information since you posted, I'd love to hear from you.
