Since this msg is from 1999 hope you are still following. Definitely a connection here.Sarah Diehm (from DeKalb) is my g-g grandmother. (she married Jesse Calvin Hubler) Brothers David, Henry, Charles all b. btwn 1869-1881 all in IN. Didn't know name of parents. Believe Sarah's father to have been married at least twice. Is Mary Bloodhart mother of Fred Diehm. I was told Mary raised all the children. Don't know Mary and William as children? I am certain Fred Diehm is 1/2 related to Sarah Diehm and siblings. I have pics of David Diehm and wife Mary in Marshalltown, Iowa. Pic of Adaline Diehm in Garwin.
I have no idea of the German relations. There may be a relation to some Diehms who immigrated to Australia from Germany.
Hope you get back to me so we can compare more notes.
