John Christopher DIEHM was born about 1774 in Bestenheid(?), Germany. He immigrated about 1833 to Wayne Township, Noble County, Indiana. In November 1838,he purchased land from Evan Jones in Noble County, IN.(the West half of the Northeast Quarter, Section thirty-five Township thirty-four Range eleven) He died on Nov 29, 1869 in Noble County, Indiana. He was buried in Lutheran Cemetery, Allen Township, Noble County,
Indiana. He was married to Anna Christina ______. Anna was born about 1795 in Germany. She died on Nov 19, 1869 in Noble County, Indiana. She was buried in Lutheran Cemetery, Allen Township, Noble County, Indiana. John Christopher DIEHM and Anna Christina ______ had the following children:

1. John Michael DIEHM b. about 1820 in Baden, Germany. Married to Salome (Sarah) HOUSHOLDER Nov 30, 1843.
2. John Peter DIEHM b. July 11, 1826, Germany - d. Dec 11, 1913. Married to Margrette A. RIES Feb 19, 1850.
3. Appalona DIEHM b. Oct 19, 1823 - d. Feb 24, 1898, Albion, IN. Married to Joseph MILLER.
4. Christina DIEHM b.Feb 11, 1829 in Germany - d.Jul 13,1880 Noble County, Indiana. Married to Thomas P. BAUMANN Feb 27, 1850.
5. Magdelena DIEHM b. Jun 1 1833 in Germany - d.Sep 10,1896 in Noble County, Indiana. Married to George HESS.
