Can you identify any of James and Lehna's children? Then I will know if we are talking about the same people.I have (my g grandparents) James Dieter b. 15 Apr 1822 d 10 Sep 1906 and Lena Mack b. 10 Sep 1828 d 13 Aug 1905 (the names on the cem. stones in the Fair Haven South Cem., Clinton Co., Mulberry, In). One of the obituarites of son Cyrus, who married Martha Peter, has Leah (Fritz); his biography has Lena Mack. I have been confused by the "Fritz". My mother said that her grandfather was nicknamed "Fritz". An obituary of another son, Martin who m Sarah E Yehl, has him born to James and Maude (Mack) Dieter.

A LDS Ancestral file has Peter Dieter and Anna Maria Dieter (from different Dieter families). Peter b. 10 Jun 1794 in Moore Twp, Northampton, PA and d bef 7 Dec. 1847. Anna Maria b 29 Sep 1790 and d bet 1870-1880. In that file is a son, James, b. 1822. I have no documentation that the two James are the same (wife of second James not mentioned).

Perhaps someone can help us out
