The 1754 Granville militia no order,75. Samuel Fowler Senior . The washington Virg deeds shows Samuel Fowler hier to Samuel Fowler Sr. John Totton jr chose Samuel Fowler as his gaurdian. 1753 1754 shows a samuel teeder on one deed. GRANVILLE

The Caswell census 1850 show the Elder Tottens where born in Granville late 1790s early 1800. Caswell was cut from Orange co. 1790 Orange co shows Absalom Tetton. whereas 1796 deeds shows the name in caswell as tuten tutan ect. 1777 Orange co shows Benjamin Tuttin.. 1779 old 96th Shows Petter Tutten and John Porterfield. 1782 Washington co shows Benjamin Totten in Arron Lewis district same district where George Teater formerly lived prior to 1779. James Lockhart shows several times in Bertie NC 1760s. then 1777 Burke NC..

John Porterfied bought George Teater out 1785. So it appears the connection was from Peter Totten old 96th to Benamin Totten throufg early relationship of George Teater..

Peter Tutten was Totten in the SC and Georgia Longcrane Church. note Jonas Totten Crawford Indiana came from Georgia . The Fife s are listed with Peter Totten on the Longcrane church rolls. George Totten married a Fife girl in Bertie NC same district as James Lockhart. George Totten then appears with Jonas Totten and James Totten in Crawford Indiana.

William Tuton was 1st on the Davidson Tenn land grants as Tuton. Then in Garrard kentucky with Parris Teater orphan bond. He then appears short time in Indiana and then 1st settler of Fulton Ill evidenced by his sons interview..

The Tutons Dotens Dootons came to Perquimans from the Barbados with the Parris family. John Tuton a bold adventurer was all alone up in the northen neck 1720s living with the a small band of Indians. he appears to have been evicted by the auwbeys 1740s. The next one is John Doten listed as indentured run away living with the Chirrakees 1750

John Tuton and Absalom Tuton the appear in the Craven Anson miltias after 1752.

William and Benjamin Dowden Totton Dooton appear 1755 Beaufort NC. By 1790s the name is again Absalom Tuten Tuton in Beaufort NC.. Also note Benjamin Tedder George Tedder SR Thomas Tettor George Tedder brothers of Jacob Teder of Surry Virg and Rowan NC appears as Jacob Teeder and Teater. Jacob Teeder teater. is shown as son of Samuel Teterton and Mary Evans Tyrrrell NC . Samuel Shortened the name to Teeder Tuder Teder. ect.

By 1758 George Tedder his uncles Benjmin Evans Thomas Evans left Beaufort and settled with Jacob Teeder elder brother aslso Jacob Teater George Teeder also spelled Teeter. . Teeter jr. the [Hinkle Diary] shows the earlier [Teters Dieters] were long gone by that time. so could not be these [Teeders ]up to 1762 verified. .

Samuel Gibson Teater with George Teater George Parris same Regiment French Indian War. 1766 Capt Teater was in Rowan co . So why?becuse it was the home county of him and George Teater and George Teaters inlaws the Van Cleaves Boones Griffiths Frosts . note Parris Teater was admistrator of the estate of Elijah Evans from the Thomas Evans of Rowan co.

Samuel Teater did not produce any children with Mary Doddridge until 39 yrs old, Since he was in Rowan co 1766 he would of had a wife there who died made single by 1768. A George Teater was in the revolution Rowan co and could be the son of Samuel Teater he could of been looked after by George Teater sr and Sarah. This may explian why a George Teater married a Esther Griffith in 1796 Madison KY. She may have been a daughter of John Griffith or Jonas griffith.. ester the wife of benjamin totten noted married george teater family POA she was not anywhere as Griffith. If Benajim Totten jr was a private war of 1812 he coudnt of beena Capt in 1802. If thats the case then Benjamin Totten didnt die until after 1802. Again if thats the case then Ester Totten didnt marry George Teater until after 1802. 2 names Jonas Griffith and Capt Benjamin Totton appear 1802 Jackson Tenn...

New investigated links show Archor Worley was the brother of Col John Worley of Tyrrell Bertie NC. his son was Capt Samuel Teaters brother inlaw. after Capt Teater became a widow in Rowan co 1766 he went to Bedford on account of Archor- Joseph worley . Col John Worley was in law of William Teterton of Tyrrell younger than Samuel Teterton..

Richard Pearis was in the will of Joseph Toops Anson NC . So its possible George Teater Samuel Teater went in that party French Indian war. George Parris was also in Granville as well. In any case Daniel Boone wasnt there ,Braddocks defeat, long. But both George Teater and Samuel Teater have many notes with Daniel Boone. The relationship as well as Jonas Griffith was from Burke cut from Rowan co. The Tottens Hohimers Teaters all connect to one man Robert Pearis the son of George Pearis and Sarah Pepper. With exception of George Teater very connected to Richard Pearis [Military and Lands] Rhoda Parris appears to be from the 2nd wife Hyter a Chowan Indian girl of Rutherford. She appears to be named after one of Richard Pearis wifes Rhoda.. note [George Parris ELDER] in his will stated George Parris and Robert Parris as his grandchildren but he did not name Sarah as a daughter of George who would have to have been 12 yrs older than George and Robert Parris. Yet Sarah Pearis was daughter of Rhoda and Richard Pearis.. But George Teater and Sarah never named any girl Rhoda only George Parris named a dauhter Rhoda wife of Hohimer son inlaw of Benjamin Totten and inlaw of Parris teater.,

John Hatton the Trader lived on the same Southern Ireland colony of Crab Creek as George Teater this area ran near to Richard Pearis area Dunker Bottom But George Parris also lived there 1750 by his sons revolution statement born Botetourt 1750 Samuel Teater son of George Teater also noted born same place. as birth 1763 Yet George Teater did not own any property there until 1768 the same year Capt Samuel Teater moved to Bedford from Rowan Co. George Teaters wife Sarah had to have lived with someone ealier than 1763 same spot. Options are John Hatton sister half breed wife of Richard Pearis. Rhoda Pearis wife of Richard Pearis or George Parris. Another note is Robert Pearis was granted custody of a Indian girl named from the Catatubo nation. He appears to handed her over to brother Richard Pearis her name was Pratchy . The sister of John Hatton was not Pratchey she could of been a daughter of Robert Pearis from one of his Squaws. Elizabeth Parris daughter of Robert Pearis showed up in Madison KY 1784 the same time John Cunninghams estates were confiscated and was thrown in jail.

Enough notes show Sarah Parris was the sister of [George Parris The Elder] she married John Cunningham SR father of Gen Robert Cunningham and John Cunningham. The Adjudent General records of the southern Brittish forces are very clear. John Cunningham married Hannah Ridley not Sarah Pearis the daughter of Richard Pearis. .

Robert Pearis seems to be the main Parris connected to George Teater George Hohimer and Benjamin Totten SR by his daughters marriage to Hohimer. the Hohimers lived 1st in the Lost State of Frankin Tenn and appear in Madsion KY with Robert Pearis.

Rober Pearis was in Montgomery Virg and Greene Tenn. same time with Benjamin Totten John Totten . John Totten and Joseph Hicks show to have come to Thomas Ingles when his family was kidnapped. Thomas Ingles came from the same area where George Teater lived at Crab Creek. He was raised as Indian and returned to the white mans world as full grown man. John Doten Tuton also lived with the Cherokee as well perhaps theres a connection there.

The children of Susannah Teater Daughter of William Teater named thier Teaters of Kentucky Scotch Irsh descent. The Gov of Washington Co Virg also named the George Teater there as Scotch Irish Presbyterian, Sgt David Campbell and Sgt George Willam Teater served in the Scotch Irish Co of William Campbell Lord Dunmores war.

Theres enough notes to strongley indiacte Capt Samuel Gibson Teater was the elder brother of George William Teater by 2 yrs.. Theres not one document or fact that shows the George Teater of Washington co Virg and Kentucky who married Sarah Pearis was named John. Theres no Johns in that line. There was a John Teeter a french speaking Swiss who lived 100s of miles away in Washington co, they were 2 seperate people not related

. There is not one fact or note that either of them George or Samuel were ever named as Dieter not one yet. They had family of Scotch irish Welsh English Absolutly no German names script or any German notes at all. Conclusion if 2 credible persons noted George Teater was Scotch - Irish then his elder brother Samuel was the same..

Van Cleave Sur name is Dutch and connection to George Teater was a 5th generation born in Amreica. There one other Alpine name Grindstaff from Burke NC. also 4th generation born America. George and Samuel have no notes to any German family or German origins at all.

Without counting the West Virg Tottens thier true name was Townsend shotened to Totten by another John and Benjamin Eziekial Townsend.
