Hi, looking fog a GI called George Deiter or Dieter(wish the writing was clearer) who served in ww2 , was stationed for a time in the Bristol area UK, my Grandmother died recently and we have discovered a photo of her and her sisters with a several GI's taken in 1944. we have succesfully traced two of them but George is eluding us at present, it says Pittsburgh on the photo. A Cund and T webb have been located(deceased in AZ and WI)but
we can find no trace of George. Any help would be appreciated.
My Grandmother was Joan Vowells from Bristol, her married name was Marle, her sisters were Felicity and Connie, we belive the photo was taken on the downs near the famous suspension bridge.
Best wishes to all from Bristol Uk

Dave
