I am looking for my ancestor:
-Andreas Anton DIETER maried to Ursula MULLER ( or André Antoine DITER x Ursule MELINGER )who's son was
-Johann Adam DIETER ( or jean adam DITER ) born in 1757 Fischbach-Saarland- Germany, died 27 may 1820 Walschbron-Moselle-France.
I suppose that the spelling of the name changed because of the history of this land who changed very often his nationality ( german or french)
May be it is a new variation of this surname on this forum?
