Sharon,

My father's mother was Gladys Fuller. The Diffendaffer's are my father's grandparents. In Mt. Salem Cemetery in Deer Ridge is where his uncle's farm was located. I met him as a small child and they called him Uncle Pond? His first name was Charles I think. Anyway, my father has had headstones made for the Fuller's and we've gotten the list of the 50 folks buried there. When my father was small, he stayed there while his parents travelled for work. Gladys Fuller married Robert Lewis Mason. They are my grandparents(deceased) and my father is Robert Berl Mason, still living in Keokuk, IA. Ironically, not only am I trying to find the Diffendaffer's and where they migrated, I'm also trying to find more of the Mason lineage. I also am a direct descendant of Washington Tennant Mason. I was just in Quincy the past weekend as my father just found out about a year ago he had one cousin that lives in Quincy and will be 94 end of March. So, we've been getting to know her too.

I will have to call my father for answers to specific questions as I personally was too young to remember much. But, my grandparents took us to Deer Ridge often as small children. Of course, I always got car sick, because of the hills and curves to get there.

Can you shed some light on how Alexander's siblings, and descendants and do you live in the area?
