Hello, Luis, Thank you for sending me a message. It would be easier to correspond if you emailed me to my hotmail account: I can receive you direct emails then.

I was surprised to hear from someone since I have been searching for relatives of mine who emmigrated to Sao Paolo, Brasil and Argentina. Unfortunately, I only know if was a DiFrancesco brother or sister of my great grandmother Anna DiFrancesco. I heard it was a sister, and that she used to write (or he) during the Great Depression of the 1930's wanting to send their son to America (Elizabeth,NJ) But there were no jobs here as well, so he didn't come.
I went to Sao Paolo for my first time last June to see if I can find relatives. I met with several DiFrancescos whos families were also from Montazzoli, but their families did not match mine. I would have to know the names of the parents of your Filomena DiFrancesco. I believe my great grandmother's father, Felice DiFrancesco, had 2 wives. Let me know what information you have about her. Hopefully I can help. I do have a couple of records from Montazzoli, but not much. I went there in 2003 and the Mayor of Montazzoli and his father were kind of rude to me and would not let me look at the records (I wanted to find the names of Anna's other brothers and sisters) and sometimes they list their marriage and emmigration. Do you have relatives in Montazzoli? Perhaps they could help us. Let me know.
