Hi Paul,
I hadn't heard from you, so I wasn't sure if you got my emamils.Just to let you know, today I got a email from ABRUZZO2000 which is a geneology company in Chieti which will look up the records for me.I want to make sure I give them pretty correct information since they can look from 1900 backwards to as far as 1780.I know that Anna (my great grandmother) was born January 1st, in either 1882 or 83.Her death certificate says 1885, but when I check the census records for 1910 15 (NJ state census), and 20 I find she was born around 1883.
Now with Antonio, your Grandfather, I know he was born in August of around 1875.I have his death certificate at my apartment in NYC (I'm at my parents in NJ), but if you have any information on him anything would be helpful (ie middle name).I can guess Laura's year of birth, but I won't find the year or day until I get the death certificate which would come too late (4 months) and I want to send this out.Gennaro's I have no Idea.I'm hoping that with Anna's and Antonio's it will be good enough.
I plan to email them my response on monday or tuesday, and I have to pay by credit card (I'm a little wary of it, but then again I don't speak Italian, and they will translate everything and do the work.I prefer doing the work myself but Italy is so far away, and I can't even drive a car (stick shift) there.the company is called ABRUZZO2000 if you have heard of them. They say it takes about 2 months.
