well im absolutely thrilled to see such an interest in our fine name ,but we still have not come closer to a definite answer of our proud origins.alas i can not offer anything more than the kerry and diggin theory,loosely i know of ancestors who left for england during the famine being the hard workers we are and also america but the name is quite uncommon therfore we are unique lets accept that at least and believe whatever we want .personally i like to think its french ,i like the idea and always found the french language easy almost like it was natural .iam the dreamer of the tribe lisa
