Hi Julie- I received an e-mail today from Missy in Maryland who thought your message would be useful- it is! My grandfather Daniel McEachern from Beverly Mass. had a cousin Arthur Diggins, married to Catherine ?. They lived in the Boston area and Arthur Diggins had no children. My grandfathers birth certificate states his father as being Augustus McEachern from Cape Breton (Canso or Grand Narrows) but my mother remembers hearing that the name was Angus so we are confused. Missy said that you may have info on marriage lines and that there was little about Augustus. Do you have his wife's name? I have it at home, I think it was Lizzie McLean, a first wife I believe, who was also from Cape Breton. Please e-mail me at kmchugh@lexigenpharm.com or write to Karen McHugh, 12 Carroll Drive, Foxboro, Mass. 02035 if you can with info.I will share what little I have and can ask my mother if she remembers anything else. Thanks!
