Any info on Bartholomew Diggins

I am beginning research on my great-great grandfather, Bartholomew Diggins who was born in Baltimore Maryland (I think). He had one brother, Benjamin. His parents came from Ireland, probably Dingle in County Kerry and his wife's maiden name was (I think) O'Sullivan. I already know that he was a Congressional Medal of Honor winner from the Civil War, having fought with Admiral Farragut on the USS Hartford at the battle of Mobile Bay (as well as many other battles). I am hoping to get information on his parents and back further and would like information on his brother, Benjamin, and any descendants of Benjamin. Bartholomew Diggins and his family lived in Washington, DC as did several subsequent generations of that Diggins line.
