Hello!Yes, we are related and we descend from the younger of the Diggs children.I did not have a lot to go on regarding this but I calculate that my Wincy Diggs was born circa 1819/20 and your Harvey Diggs was born between 1810 to 1820. In the 1850 Census of Lafayette County MS Wincy McRae is listed as being thirty years old.
What is interesting is most of the children ended up in Mississippi:
Guilford Diggs married Anna Maria Pond and moved to Scott County MS.
Ann Diggs married Dudley Diggs JR. (cousin) and moved to Henderson County TN.
Elizabeth Diggs married Henry Liles and moved to ????.
Susan Diggs married James T. Permenter and moved to Noxubee County MS.
Wincey Diggs married John C. McRae and moved to Lafayette County MS.
Dixon Dargan Diggs married Sarah Ann Ratliff and she moved to Prentiss County MS after his death in 1856.
Lydia Diggs married Levi Preslar and moved to ?????
Harvey W. Diggs married Morning P. Cox and moved to Noxubee County MS.
This is the information as I have it but if you have something different please let me know and we can compare notes.
Another thing I find interesting is that my Grandfather/grandmother ended up in Fannin County TX as well in 1920 and my grandmother is buried there!
