Hi Donna,

My name is Shirley Giacomo(Di). Do you know from where in Italy your family originated?
Do you know when they left Italy?
My DiGiacomo family, as much as we know, originated in Castiglione de Carovilli, province now: Isernia, then: Campobasso, Region of Molise.

My grandparents, Domenico DiGiacomo and Giaconda Fabrizio went on to Krebs, Ok., then, not far away from there, to Wilburton, Ok. This is in SE Ok. Grandfather worked in the coal mines there, until he could start his own business (gas station).

We had relatives in PA, Co, Il, Oh, and Ok.
Have lost contact with most of the relatives who relocated in these states.

Don`t know if this will help you, but I do know the frustration of looking and looking and coming to a dead end. I`m just mostly trying to find the descendants of our relatives, but I do have some names, not many dates, of my family, if you think this would help you in any way, I would be glad to send what I have.

Some of the people from this area in Italy relocated to South America, but I have no knowledge, if any of my folks did.

Shirley Walker

Wanted to add: Other names in my family, in addition to DiGiacomo and Fabrizio: Massaro,
Ricci, also, family members think, Rossi.
