Dear Lauren;

I forgot to mention, some of the DiGiacomo relatives(mine), are in Gowen, Ok., Haileyville, Ok., Hartshorne, Ok. If you locate McAlester, Ok. on a map, you will find these places almost directly East of McAlester. Some of these people, not necessarily Italians also worked for the Railroad, as this was also big there. Some opened restaurants in Krebs and Mcalester. Pete`s Place is in Krebs. Gia Como`s in Mcalester. Both have wonderful Italian food.

My Grandfather`s brother, Steve, also started his business in Krebs,Ok. Later moving to Sapulpa, Ok.

I would really like to hear from your father.
I said in last posted message to you, that I was of the opinion that people with my family names, associated with Krebs,(or this whole area) are related some way----I should have said, in my opinion people with these names, from Castiglione de Carovilli, who came to Krebs and that area, are someway related.

Hoping to hear from you and your father.

Thanks so much

Shirley
