Hi Carmen,

Thank you for responding to my post. Sorry for the delay in answering you. I don`t know if there could be a connection between my family and yours--San Pietro Avellana seems not to be very far away from where my family came, which was from a "hamlet" of Carovilli. The hamlet was Castiglione, the mailing address years ago, was Castiglione de Carovilli. I use Mapquest--www.mapquest.com to find these places. My grandfather was Domenico DiGiacomo, his father`s name was Giorgio. My grandfather was born in 1887. I am not familiar with the name, Rosa Caterina, or that my grandfather had a sister named Rosa. We did have some relatives in Pa., however, but have lost contact with them. I do not know their names. I am still looking for relatives, and who knows? there may be a connection. I will certainly let you know if I find out anything, hope you will do the same for me.

Thanks again,
Shirley (Di)Giacomo Walker
