My grandmother was Maria Maddalena DiGiacomo born in 1892 in Castel Frentano, Chieti. I believe she was the youngest of 8 or 10 children. The only sibling names I know were Louis, Bernice and Rocco (who died as a baby). My mother and Aunt (her cheldren) died before I could find out any more about siblings. Her father, Carmine DiGiacomo, died when she was about 8. Her mother was Nicola Cavacini. I think Carmine's parents were named Carmine and Juliette. Maddalena married Achille Zulli and they came to America several times before settling in Phila, Pa around 1931. I know she had several relatives who lived in New York. Does any of this sound familiar to you?
