My family originated in Potenza Italy. They arrived in New York in 1880.My grandfather's name was Vincenzo DiGiacomo. He apparently arrived in an extended family group consisting of his sisters, Rosa, Maria and Agnes and probably his mother Josephine and father Peter.He had a brother Faustino who arrived in 1890.We have discovered a considerable amount of information about the brothers and their progeny but have no information about their sisters. If you have a grandmother with the maiden name of Rosa, Maria, or Agnes DiGiacomo who resided in the N.Y. area please contact me.
