My grandfather, Alfonso DiGiacomo, was born in Lama de Palimia, Chieti, in about the 1860's. Married a woman named Giacinda, had 2 sons and 2 daughters. They moved to Algiers when the children were small until the early 1900's, when they came to the U.S. and settled in Chicago. My father, Louis, eldest son died when I was 14, so I have no record of my Grandfather or Grandmother.
They returned to Algiers around 1923, and that's the last I kow of them. Am working
on my family tree and lack information on my father's parents. Can you help? Thanks.
