Hi Mary,

My ancestors were named DiGiacomo and as far as I now know, they originated in Lama Del Peligni (sp?) which is apparently in the Abbruzzi region. I am currently trying to link my family with that of a distant cousin named Giacoma. Of this line I know of my cousin Francis, his father Nicholas Giacoma, Nicholas' father Francis Xavier "Samuel" Giacoma, Samuel's father Nicholas, Nicholas' father Francis Xavier. Samuel was the immigrant and he lived in Wilmington, Delaware.

I am learning quite a bit about this line but, so far, I have not been able to find the link to my own family.

Dave
