Hi: My Grandfather, Dominic DiGiacomo, was from Carovilli, Campobasso, Molise. He came with his father to USA,when he was about 15 or 16. They worked in the coal mines in S.E. Okla., around Krebs, McAlester, Wilburton, area. His father is buried in the Krebs, Ok. cemetary. Grandfather and his brothers dropped the Di, and he then went by the name Giacomo. My Grandfather is buried in the Wilburton,Ok. cemetary. So there were some DiGiacomo`s from Campobasso.
