I forgot to mention that Michael and Ann came to this country in 1849 with their sons Owen and Thomas. The other children were born in Ohio or Iowa. Thomas, my gr grnd fthr. married Catherine Hand. They moved from Jackson Junction, Iowa to So. Dakota. I would like to find out about John Dignan, born in Iowa in 1854. I think he may have stayed in Iowa.
