Hi Ed,

Don't know of an Ann, but our records are far from complete back that far, and the names do look suspiciously similar. I have Thomas with two brothers and a sister (Patrick, Frank, and Brigidam or Brigit). *If* Ann is a sister, then it's more than possible that she travelled to Scotland at the same time as Thomas (he moved there sometime before 1865) - but that's a big if. It is possible though. Will let you know if I turn up anything definite
