My grandmother was Margaret Cecil Dignan. Her family came from County Cork. I do not have much about her family history, but would be willing to share what I have. Margaret Cecil Dignan was the daughter of Thomas Joseph Dignan b.1-9-1890 in Chicago, Illinois and d. 9-8-1955, his father was Thomas Dignan who married Margaret Boyle. Please let me know if this ties into your Dignans, this line of my family has lead me to a brick wall.
Thanks,
Tonya Arnott
