I am researching my family tree, with the surname Brack or Bracke, my G.G Grandfather, Christopher was born in Scotland in 1820, we have no idea where in Scotland at the moment. I have found him living in Manchester married to Catherine Doig, with a son born 1848, also named Christopher, who was baptized in the Cathedral Manchester, Lancashire, England. They went on to have the following children, Catherine, Isabella, Andrew, Clara, Agnes, Sarah, Eliza Maud and my Grandfather William Henry.

I have found a Dominic Dignan who married Isabella Brack(e)
4th Jan, 1846 at the Cathedral Manchester, Lancashire England, I think this could be G.G.Grandfather's sister,
I can find no more information on the above couple, they may well have emigrated.

Any information would be most welcome,

Sue Smith (mrs)
