My father's father emigrated to the US through Ellis Island from Cita St. Angelo (sp?), in the Abruzzi Province, around 1914 or so. He died in his 40's, but seven kids grew up in Easton, PA, near Allentown/Bethlehem. The seven were Ernest, Charlie, Lettry, Mary, Frank, John, and my father, James. My father passed away a month ago, and John, the last remaining sibling passed away last weekend. There are a bunch of my cousins in the Allentown/Easton area, Richard, David, Frank, Denise, and Sharon, and possibly others I'm not certain of. They are all baby boomers, between 40 and 55 yrs old.

I know another DiGuiseppi family located in Maryland and Virginia, or suburban DC. I worked with Paul of that family, probably 50 years old. He said his grandfather was Abruzzi, but he did not know the town. His grandfather settled in suburban MD in the early part of the 1900's.

I don't have a lot more information, but I thought I'd let you know what I know.

Bill
