My family is located in MD, they spell their name DiGiuseppe and are of the Abruzzi Province. My Great Grandfather was Antony, wife Candita arrived in NY approx 1901. Their children were Midian (born in Italy), Antony, Angelo, Rosie and Annie. Midian was my grandfather, he changed his name to Joseph when he joined the Navy (WWI), he was the only one to do so. Midian had 10 children, one was my mother. I may be related to your friend. I am trying to locate where exactly my grandfather was born.
