Can she give us more information.

I would need to know when she was born and approximately where in Palermo area.

My Diliberto's immigrated in 1905 and 1906, but one son stayed back in Palermo.

His name was Antonio or Antonino. He had a daughter, but I do not know her name. I do not know if he had any other children.

I do know Antonio took over his father's job on board a passenger ship and was the chef or possibly the pastry chef. My great-grandfather's name was Onifrio and he went by Charles. born in 1850, Palermo, died 1912 Chicago, IL. Onifrio was a chef then he became the Commodore of the Chef's for the Italian line.

I don't know much more about him than that.

I can tell you the family home (not sure where it is in Palermo area) was bombed around June or July 1943 or 1944. Antonio died about 2 weeks later from a heart attack.

The family home may still be in the Diliberto name.

If that sounds familiar, please contact me at
