I am doing a one-name study on Snodgrass families, and in Montgomery Co., OH, there were four marriages between a Snodgrass & a Dille, all before 1850.
22 Aug 1816, Thomas Snodgrass married Hannah Dille as his first wife. She apparently d. before 1830, when he married a 2nd time.
22 Jan 1828, Elizabeth Snodgrass married Brice Dille.
27 Sep 1832, Irvin/Irwin Snodgrass married Anna Dille as his first wife. She apparently d. before 29 Nov 1838, when he married Elizabeth Dille as his second wife. Elizabeth d. about 24 Jan 1849, Montgomery Co., OH, and is buried in the Dille Cem. in Montgomery Co., OH.
Does anyone know anything about any of these families? I would REALLY like to know if Thomas, Elizabeth, & Irvin/Irwin are brothers & sister.
