The David Buel Dille line is interesting. He was the son of David Jr. who together with Moses Cleaveland [note the spelling] founded Cleveland, Ohio. There's still a Dille road in Cleveland-Euclid, Ohio. David Buel Dille became a Mormon and moved to Kirkland, Ohio.
He was one of the founders of Nauvoo, Illinois, where he helped build the temple (he was a stonemason). His homesite is in the records at the visitors' center. He was a member of the Nauvoo Masonic Lodge, together with Joseph Smith and Brigham Young.
He went west with Brigham Young and helped found Salt Lake City. All this qualified him as a "Mormon Pioneer." He had several wives and many children. David Buel Dille was my first cousin three times removed! My ancestor Caleb Dille was David Jr.'s brother.
