I'd be very much interested in any Norwegian connection, especially if Dille is an old Norwegian name. I've found Dilles in Germany, Belgium (Flanders) and France. Also in Ireland and England. Most all Dilles I've found in the U. S. are descended from John Dille of Woodbridge, NJ, b. 1645.
Any Scandinavian origin of the name would be fascinating to follow up.
