Looking to connect with descendants of Davis Dille b.Pa.,son of Caleb Dille. This David Dille m.Elizabeth Myers and had many children b.Oh. While David's father and some of his brothers moved to Indiana,David stayed in Belmont,Oh. and later moved to Athens Co.,Oh. where he died in 1845,have copy of will. Interested in one of his daughters,Rosanna. It seems Rosanna was married twice. It's said her first marriage was annulled, due to Rosanna being placed into a mental institution. However there were NO mental institutions in Athens ,Ohio during that time. Rosanna was married a second time in 1850. Rosanna is mentioned in her father's 1845 will.Would like to find record of annullment in Athens Co.,Oh. Also if a record exsists of her commitment? Have verified 5 children for Rosanna with her second husband. Believe Rosanna was widowed abt.1870? Have Rosanna ,widowed in the 1870,1880 Athens Co.,Oh. census. Cannot find death record for Rosanna or her husband, but I'm sure both died in Athens Co.,Oh. One of her sons died in a mine cave in ,in Athens ,Oh. He left a widow and 2 children. One of her daughters was married twice and had 10 children. She died in 1900 in Hocking Co.,Oh.Hoping someone has more information.
