I do not know this side of the family or how far back you have went. There were two brothers that immigrated to US from Europe. One was single the other had a wife. My side are the Williams Neeves and they are from the E. Tn, S.W. Va and N. Carolina area. My Father Is James Robert he was born in Indiana(1913) as William Harrison Neeves (His father) was a sharecropper among other things, so they moved a lot. His mothers name was Willie Lily Frasier Dolinger (a mouth full huh) :-). I guess back then you did whatever you could to make a living and keep the family fed and it was a big family (sounds familiar now too). Also I am 5th generation Cherokee on the Neeves side. Hope this helps some. Would like to hear more about your side of the Neeves family. If you would like more info I can have my cousin contact you as he is a wealth of info. Hope to hear from you soon.
