I was checking the NY Times Microfilm looking for an article that may have appeared in their newspaper concerning an accident which caused the death of my grandfather.
There were about 11 other names that they mention in the article. Vincenzo was one of them listed.
The accident occurred on August 6, 1918 and Vincenzo died on that same date.
They list his address as 231 Union Street, Brooklyn, NY. (that is the same address they listed for my grandfather in the article).
Out of curiousity I called my aunt who is 96 years old and she said Vincenzo was a cousin and they did live at the same address. One family lived on the first floor, the other on the second floor. Vincenzo and my grandfather worked together as longshoremen.
With the date of death and address I have provided you can search census records or look for an obituary or get a a copy of the death certificate. Perhaps he is related to you.
If you find out that he is, please let me know. We could be cousins.
