Would anyone here happen to know the meaning/origin of the name Di Marco? From what I've heard it the oldest records found are from 1100,they were found in Messina,Italy, but I'm not sure.If anyone has any ideas,I'd love to hear them(by email/post).
Also,Maybe we might be more closely related than you think. The Di Marco's on my family were from Fiore,Comune Rocca Santa Maria-Teramo,Abruzzi.I think that's how it was spelt. And my dad's uncle left Italy when he was 18,early 1900's,when my grandad was just born.I've been trying to trace it down but I've had not much luck.So if you have any tips or anything or you even think you're related,I'd like to hear them aswell.
Well,I wish you all good luck on your geneology research!
