Jane - A pleasure to hear from you. I really don't know much about my paternal grandfather, Ciro A. DiMarco, except that he hailed from Bosacquino and arrived here and was processed thru the Port of New Orleans in the late 1890's. I was at Federal Court one day and looked up his immigration papers. In fact, there were two (2) separate Ciro A. DiMarco's who arrived here in New Orleans, on the same boat, and both came from Bosacquino. I would not have been able to tell which of them was my grandfather had it not been for a physical description attached to the paperwork: One Ciro was over 6 feet tall with a slim build. The other was just over 5 feet tall, short and stocky with brown hair and eyes. He's the one. Curiosly enough, the descendants of the other Ciro A. DiMarco are also living here in Slidell, and they are lilkewise tall and slender, over 6 feet - (I'm 5'7'', 155lbs., brown hair (now greying hair!) and eyes by comparison. Thanks so much for the favor of your reply.
