Hello Jim.Thanks for the information.All my Dimmitt info came from my aunt, who gathered some of it from a book entitled "Hopkinson and Allied Families," by Laura Huffman, Aura M. and Alsey E. Hopkinson, published in 1965.I have not tracked down a copy yet.Your Beal looks like my Richard Beal.I did not know about his first wife.
My ancestor Joseph Eveland apparently married two Dimmitt sisters: (1) Lucea Ellen Dimmitt, and, after she died married her sister (2) Evaline Jane Dimmitt.
