Sarah Dingee was the daughter of John Dingee and Charity Jackson and mentioned in his 1750 will.
Sarah was born July 1741 & dead before 1814. Maurice/Morris Seaman was b.20 Feb 1738/39. The best authority on the Seamans has not placed Morris. Morris witnessed the deeds when John Dingee's land was sold.
There were two Seaman children: Richard (1771-1810)who dsp in Clinton Dutchess Co. and Elizabeth Wildey (1768-1842) who died Milan and is buried in the old Burial Ground.Elizabeth Wildey was living in Northeast in 1814 when she and her husband and her unmarried aunt Martha Dingee sold land in Oyster Bay to Richard Townsend.
A Morris Seaman [and a Richard Seaman] paid taxes in Amenia from Jun 1766-1770.
What is your connection to this family?
