Dear Kathy,

My ancestors Philip and Mary Carrel were in New Salem (now Annapolis), Jefferson County, Ohio in 1812. They owned lot #102 on Third Street according to the old Deed Book, and sold it to John Gans. Their youngest child Philip married Maria Feltenberger, a daughter of Maria Heisler and Jacob Feltenberger in 1832 in Harrison County.

Are you in that area? I am very interested in the Old Annapolis Cemetery for possibe Carrel graves.

Thanks,
Eric Olson, Seattle
