Nancy McNeely Dingess migrated with a large number of related families, including her brothers Samuel, James, Robert and William, from Logan County VA to Rush and Shelby Cos IN in the 1820s and early 1830s. On 17 Jan 1832 in Shelby Co IN, Nancy married Claiborne Rucker, who had divorced his wife Frances Ballard and moved with their children from Logan Co VA. She appears in Shelby County as late as the 1860 census.
