Would like some clarification on ggggrandfather William Dingess. I find a Wm Dingess married to a Susannah with children John, Chloe, Phoebe, Fred, Naoma, Mary, Elizabeth
on a Lawrence Co,Ky census dated Oct.1, 1850. Then I also find a William Dingess on an August 12, 1850 Logan Co, Va census with wife Emaline and a French Dingess age 10 and a Henry D. Farley age 20 in the household. I've read Wm Dingess "Panther Bill" being married to a Susannah Crum and an Emaline Stollings. So, my question is--who are the parents of these William Dingesses because from what I've seen-I assume he was a very busy man polygamizing across state lines. Someone-PLEASE HELP> I'm confused!
P.S. To add to the confusion, after his death, Susannah Crum of Lawrence Co. Ky marries a Samuel Aldridge of Lawrence Co. Ky in Logan Co. VA. Must have some ties to Logan Co????
