International Ship's Travellers Union/Immigrants

There is a company in Colorado who have a volunteer staff that is transcribing the names of the immigrants. Last time I checked, they had gotten through the 1600s, 1700, and 1800s.

You can check for your ancestor's name by the Port of Departure or Arrival, the name of the ship, captain and a list of passengers.

There are several websites dedicated to this research.
