Peter Dingess' sister d/o Michel & Gertrude

There are two reports I've read. One says Peter's sister died, along with Michel & Gertrude during the ship's crossing.

The other is that she was adopted by a family in the Northern states, while Peter was taken in by a family in Virginia.

There is a group of volunteers who are transcribing all of the ship's logs of all immigrants - if you knew the name of the ship or the date of their voyage, you might be able to find records for Michel and Gertrude.
